CALGARY — If google search styles are really a screen in to the minds of customers, then a current report implies that progressively more Canadians are considering some ill-advised economic choices, observers state.
The number of searches involving car title loans almost tripled in Canada in the March-to-September period this year to 16,900 per month, compared with about 5,900 searches per month at the same time a year earlier, according to SEMrush amid a pandemic-related surge in interest in personal finance information.
The Boston-based marketing firm that studies search on the internet styles stated Canadian pursuit of payday advances, meanwhile, dropped by 43 percent to 22,900 from 39,700 during the same duration, that has been marked by thousands of people losing their jobs as non-essential shops and industries had been obligated to shut in an attempt to retain the spread of this virus.
